Acute problems such as headaches, migraine, influenza, colds, digestive problems like upset stomachs, bloating, nausea and heartburn, sinusitis, toothache, period pains, back-ache, depression, moods, emotional upsets, personal setbacks, feelings of frustration, anger or despair etc can all be given Reiki and these will often heal much quicker than had Reiki not been administered. Broken bones need to be set prior to being given Reiki, which can then be treated through the plaster cast. As well as working on physical conditions, Reiki is also effective on an array of emotional, psychological and spiritual predicaments that people often find themselves facing.
Chronic conditions whether physical, emotional or spiritual can also be given Reiki and the effects may take longer as the dis-ease has been manifested longer than in acute conditions.
Whilst Reiki is never given during surgery as it may neutralise the effects of the anaesthetic, Reiki is however a useful support before and after surgery often helping to hasten the healing process.
